The last thing many of us are thinking about is Christmas, but for the City of Hamilton, it’s never too early to hunt for the perfect Christmas tree.
The Public Works department is asking citizens to consider donating the perfect tree to be the centerpiece of Gore Park’s festive decorations this Christmas season.
The tree will also serve as the Christmas Tree of Hope for the CHML/Y108 Childrens Fund. It must be at least 40 feet tall, in the front yard, accessible from the street and clear of overhead wires.
The tree would be cut and transported at no cost to the owner.
If you have a large Colorado blue spruce in excellent condition that you think is this year’s winner, you’re being asked to call 905-546-CITY.
