You can call it a Pan Am Games preview.
Hamilton’s Pier 8 will host a street festival this Sunday, featuring Pan American music like reggae, salsa, samba and calypso.
The free festival, called Streetside, will be held from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 o’clock along the Waterfront.
Organizer Don Shipley says it’s a chance for local residents to celebrate the culture of each Pan Am country.
The event also includes nine vintage pickup trucks.
Similar Streetside events are being held this month in Toronto.
The Pan Am Games kick off in two years time in Hamilton and throughout the Golden Horseshoe.
