A female protestor is charged with causing a disturbance, as well as obstructing and assaulting a peace officer, follow yesterday’s display inside of Hamilton’s courthouse.
29 year old Patricia Mills was held for a bail hearing while six others, ranging in age from 24 to 31, were released on similar charges.
They include four Hamilton residents, David Prychitka, Ryan Kohn, Sarah Perkins and Alex Tichelaar. The others are from Toronto and Guelph.
The disturbance happened as a number of defendants were scheduled to appear before the court on trespass related charges stemming from June’s Enbridge Pipeline Protest in Flamborough. The antics included banging on the doors and walls of a third-floor courtroom.
