Some sports musings from this corner of the world.
I’m helping my older brother in his NFL fantasy draft tonight. It is at a friend’s house in Oakville. I’m basically a consultant, just doing it for fun. I kinda feel like Marcel Bellefeuille. Then again, he just got promoted from consultant to OC in the Peg. I think my brother’s fantasy team is going to be more successful than the hapless Blue Bombers.
Speaking of Winnipeg, they’re going to start rookie QB Max Hall for the second game in a row when they play the Ticats in Guelph on Saturday. I say good for them. They know what Buck Pierce is all about. They’ve had a glimpse of Justin Goltz. They are 1-and-6 and have lost 5 in a row, why not give the new guy a try? BTW, Oskee Wee Wee.
NEWSFLASH… the Blue Jays still stink. Too bad the MLB season doesn’t wrap up at the end of August. The Blue Jays, more so their fans, want to end the miserable year that 2013 has become.
