Summer is a tough time for food banks and now Neighbour to Neighbour is putting out a desperate call for help.
It is down to it’s last 14 jars of baby food and it’s also running low on formula.
Neighbour to Neighbour’s Director of Community Food, Sara Collyer, says the stocks haven’t been this bad in the last 30 years.
Collyer says its so bad the operation had resorted to rationing the baby food products and can only hope things pick up again in September when school is back in session.
Neighbour to Neighbour services 12-hundred families a month and two thirds of them are headed by single parents.
