According to neighbours, an alleged crack house in central Hamilton is still in operation despite a raid last week by Hamilton police.
Police issued a release last Thursday saying a “problematic web of drug activity was extinguished” after arresting three people following a raid at 130 Wellington Street South.
However, Tammy Kerwin, the superintendent at an apartment complex next door tells the CBC that despite the police raid the crack house is still in operation.
Kerwin says she wants the police to step in and shut the house down for good.
Police insist the three main people in the case have been arrested and they haven’t heard about drug activity picking up at the house again.
