Well here we are.
7 months after a thrilling Super Bowl in New Orleans, the NFL is ready to rock out another regular season.
I’m picking the 49ers and Texans to meet in this season’s Super Bowl… or should it be Green Bay against Denver… or Atlanta vs New England… or how about Seattle against Cincinnati?
In all seriousness, I really do like the idea of a 49ers-Texans match up at MetLife Stadium in the frozen Meadowlands come February 2nd.
For you Bills fans out there, the best you can hope for is a 7 win season, and that is really pushing it considering you have a rookie QB and 1st year NFL head coach at the helm.
5 wins may be more likely.
My biggest riser this season is Kansas City, who won just 2 games last year, but had 6 Pro Bowlers.
With new head coach Andy Reid and starting pivot Alex Smith running the show at Arrowhead, expect the Chiefs to pile up 8, 9, or even 10 wins this year.
The worst team in the NFL award will be a competition between Oakland and Jacksonville.
I’m leading towards the Raiders to claim that prize.
Coach of the year honours will go to Reid in KC.
There’s a good crop of MVP candidates, but I’ll go with Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.
Without further ado, here are my predictions for 2013.
