The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed three players.
Non-import linebacker C.O. Prime, import defensive back Kevin Barnes and import running back Kendial Lawrence have all joined the 5-and-5 club.
The Indianapolis Colts released Prime during training camp.
The 6-1, 261-pound native of Laval, Quebec was selected by Hamilton in the third round (19th overall) of this year’s CFL Draft.
In four seasons at Wagner, he recorded 278 tackles.
Barnes is a 6-1, 190-pound native of Fayetteville, North Carolina who spent time with the Cleveland Browns earlier this year.
He has also suited up with the Detroit Lions and Washington Redskins.
In 31 career NFL games, the Maryland product made 45 tackles and three interceptions.
Lawrence took part in training camp with the Dallas Cowboys last month.
He’s a 5-9, 195-pound native of Rockwall, Texas who played four seasons at Missouri
Lawrence rushed for 2,409 yards and 21 touchdowns and caught 40 passes for 296 yards for the Tigers.
The Ticats have also released import receiver Dexter Jackson.
