The two men accused in the murder of Ancaster’s Tim Bosma have made another court appearance today.
The lead detective in the investigation, Sgt. Matt Kavanagh as well as Bosma’s family and his widow Sharlene, were present when 28 year old Dellen Millard appeared briefly via video. His judicial pre-trial has been set for October 22nd.
His appearance comes as Toronto Police search his Waterloo area farm. They have not said what they’re looking for but do say they’re searching the property again in light of some ‘new information’.
They’ve been investigating the disappearance of 23 year old Laura Babcock and the sudden death of Millard’s father, Wayne, last year.
Mark Smich of Oakville has also had his judicial pre-trial set for October 22nd and is to appear in person.
Both Smich and Millard plan to plead not guilty to the first degree murder charges laid against them.
