It might turn out to be the game of the year.
The 5-and-5 Tiger-Cats travel to Calgary Friday night to face the 8-and-2 Stampeders.
Hamilton and Calgary are two of the hottest, if not the hottest, teams in the CFL right now.
The Cats have won 4 of their last 5 games, including a home-and-home split against a tough B.C. Lions team.
The Stamps have strung together 3 wins in a row and are 4-and-0 at McMahon Stadium this season.
By the way, CHML’s coverage of tomorrow’s game begins with the Pre-Game Show at 8… kickoff is at 9pm.
Now that the shameless plug is out of the way, I’m confident in saying that Hamilton has a really good shot at winning this game.
It is not going to be a cakewalk by any means, I consider Calgary the most complete team in the CFL.
They can beat you in a variety of ways, running the ball, throwing it, with good defence and solid special teams play.
Hamilton has to match Calgary’s intensity out of the gate, and at the end of the night, which ever team makes more plays is going to win.
It just goes without saying.
What Ticats fans don’t want to hear, is another loss like last year’s last second snow storm slip off the tee field goal attempt.
That one still hurts.
