Details on the autopsy of Hamilton’s latest murder victim won’t be revealed before the accused comes to trial.
Witnesses say 18-year-old David Pereira was stabbed at least once in the torso before he collapsed and died near the Tim Hortons on King near Caroline early Sunday morning.
The Regional Coroner says he won’t reveal the exact cause of death because of the ongoing police investigation.
Meantime, investigators continue to seek witnesses to an earlier incident involving the accused.
It happened in a parking lot of the apartments on Market Street near Bay in the hours before the deadly encounter on King Street West.
That incident is said to have involved two men and two women.
49-year-old Raliegh Stubbs has a court appearance Thursday on a charge of first degree murder.
