Hamilton police are investigating a commercial break-in that saw 40 thousand pounds of beef stolen.
Sometime between Sunday afternoon at 5:30 and Monday at 2:15 pm, a commercial truck yard in Ancaster was broken into in on Shaver Road.
That’s where a tractor-trailer containing $100,000 worth of beef was stolen.
The beef had been picked up in Texas and was set to be delivered to a customer at the start of the week.
Police don’t yet know how the suspects got into the yard.
