Halton police are searching for a suspect who may have a mouth piercing after a 13-year-old Burlington girl was accosted while walking home.
It happened Monday night at about 9 o’clock on Palmer Drive, in the Walkers Line and Upper Middle Road area, but only reported to police Thursday.
A man grabbed her wrist and spun her around and then groped her.
She was able to fight him off and ran home.
He’s described as white, in his 20s, wearing a baseball cap, light-coloured T-shirt and jeans.
He may have a double piercing in his mouth known as a snake bite.
If you have information, call Halton Police or Crime Stoppers.
