Hamilton Police have arrested a man after more than $1, 500 worth of bubble gum was stolen.
Over a two day period last week, a man was caught on surveillance video stealing a large amount of gum at a store on Barton Street near Kenilworth.
Through the video, police were able to identify the suspect and was spotted riding his bike yesterday afternoon in the Gage and Beechwood Avenue area.
The 22-year-old Hamilton man was arrested and charged with two counts of theft under $5, 000.
The chewing gum has not been recovered.
