Hamilton’s uban renewal efforts are in line for some top awards handed out by the Canadian Urban Institute.
The projects on the short list include:
The Dundas Eco-Gateway Plan that will create one of Canada’s largest urban parks.
The Downtown/West Harbourfront Remediation Loan Program which offers low-cost loans to owners to improve their properties.
And The CANMET Materials Technology Laboratory involved in metals research, including materials for use in automotive applications.
The winners will be announced in Toronto on October 23rd.
