A Toronto man is facing charges in connection with what police say is a case of human trafficking in Burlington.
Halton Regional Police say they responded to an assault call at a Burlington motel on Friday.
They says a female victim suffered minor injuries to her face and received medical treatment.
Further investigation revealed that her alleged attacker had been forcing the victim to provide sexual services from which he was financially benefiting.
Twenty-eight year old Brandon Curtis Henry faces several charges including assault, human trafficking and procuring to become a prostitute.
He was scheduled to make a court appearance in Hamilton on Saturday.
