It’s time to turn the tables on Toronto.
Tonight’s Ticats-Argos tussle in T-O is more that just a regular season game at the Dome.
It’s more than just Hamilton vs. Toronto.
This is a chance for the Tiger-Cats to prove that they can beat the best teams in the CFL.
They didn’t do it against Calgary, getting swept aside by the best team in the land.
They were smothered by Saskatchewan earlier this year and managed to split against B-C.
Against teams with winning records this season, the Cats are 1-and-6, when you throw in Hamilton’s season opening defeat in the Big Smoke.
So forget that the Ticats have lost 4 straight games against Toronto, or that their last two games haven’t been as productive as other recent performances.
It’s a new week, a new game, a new challenge.
Getting a win in the first half of a home-and-home series is important, and tonight is no different.
Win, and the Tiger-Cats are closer to clinching a playoff spot and pull to within 4 points of 1st place in the East.
Lose, and Toronto clinches a post-season berth and the Cats can forget about a first round playoff bye.
Let’s see if the Ticats can make a statement tonight.
