Henry Burris says he wants to keep playing in Hamilton.
The 38-year-old Ticats QB will become a free agent this off-season, and some fans are speculating he may be picked up by the Ottawa RedBlacks in this December’s expansion draft.
But on Monday night’s Ticats Show on CHML, Burris said his agent has been working behind the scenes to keep him in the Black and Gold uniform.
The 2010 CFL Most Outstanding Player says he’s concentrating on beating the Argos in their Thanksgiving Day rematch in Guelph, and ultimately bringing the Grey Cup back to Hamilton.
Burris leads the CFL with 4,173 passing yards but has also thrown a league high 16 interceptions this season.
