Hamilton Police are appealing to the driver involved in a hit and run over the weekend.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit has recovered further evidence into the identity of the suspect vehicle along with the passenger side mirror. Police are strongly advising the driver to seek legal counsel and turn themself in.
At about 3:30 Saturday morning, a magnetic grey 2009 Toyota Corolla or Matrix, was traveling south on Garth Street when it lost control and mounted the curb hitting three of four teenage pedestrians traveling in the same direction from behind.
One victim suffered severe injuries to his legs and body. The impacts caused damage to the front passenger side as well as tearing off the passenger side mirror. The suspect vehicle fled and was last seen westbound on Mohawk Road West.
