Construction of McMaster University’s Downtown Health Centre is on time and on budget.
University President Patrick Deane has provided an update to the General Issues Committee stressing McMaster’s aim to be a key partner in the ongoing revitalization of the City of Hamilton.
The 85 million dollar centre is scheduled to open late next year.
It will also become the headquarters for Hamilton’s public health department.
Deane adds that the health centre will provide service to 15 thousand residents while housing 400 university employees and four thousand students.
