The energy debate is another great example of opportunity lost in sea of political jellyfish, with Joe and Jane average tax payer the ones getting stung.
We have energy that everyone else wants. We’re calling the shots!
Why can’t we leverage that opportunity to positively position the country for the next millennium?
Why can’t we use the energy we have to fund and research renewable energy that will power the next generation?
Why can’t we use the energy we have to create jobs and prosperous communities.
Why can’t we use the energy we have to finally secure a positive relationship with our first nations providing them with the resources to be self sufficient.
All opportunities lost. Why?
Because we have two sides, both on the extreme, who believe in an all or nothing win for their cause rather than what’s best for Canada and our kids.
Both are doing a dis-service to Canadians.
Time to put team politics aside and do what’s right for everyone, not just your colour or cause.
It’s not about your side winning, it’s about finding a solution that works.
