The Bulldogs have snapped thier three game losing streak.
Hamilton with a 5-4 overtime victory against the Rockford IceHogs.
The Dogs scored with just 18 seconds left in the third to force the extra frame and then Louis Lebanc sealed the deal.
Rockford opened up the scoring just 31 seconds into the game as Garret Ross put the IceHogs up 1-0.
Hamilton would pull even before too long when Nick Tarnasky scored his third of the season from Leblanc and McIver.
20 minutes in and things were tied up at 1.
The second period saw the Bulldogs control the action but still give up a goal to Terry Broadhurst at 14:29.
After two periods of play the IceHogs led 2-1 and the Bulldogs would go into the third period trailing their opponents.
Hamilton would tie it up thanks to a short-handed goal by Sven Andrighetto at 6:13
That would not last long as Rockford took the lead back just minutes later as Mark McNeill put the IceHogs up 3-2.
McNeill would add another goal in the third to add some insurance at 16:05.
With just two and a half minutes left in the period Sven Andrighetto added his second of the game to pull within one. Nystrom and Duffy picking up the assists.
Then with just 18 seconds left Akim Aliu would tie up the game with the Hamilton net empty to force overtime.
Louis Leblanc played hero scoring 1:03 into overtime with the assists going to Dumont and Nygren.
