There is still time to add your stamp on this year’s Christmas celebrations in Hamilton.
Christmas arrives two months from today, and the city is looking for someone to donate a large Colorado blue spruce tree to be the centerpiece of Gore Park’s festive decorations.
The lights on the tree will be turned on December 6 to mark the official start of the CHML Children’s Fund’s Christmas Tree of Hope campaign.
The Children’s Fund started in 1976 and has raised close to 5-million dollars for local children in need in the Hamilton and Burlington area.
The tree must be at least 40 feet tall, in your front yard, accessible from the street and clear of overhead wires.
The tree would be cut and transported at no cost to the owner.
If you have a tree that you’d like to donate, call 905-546-CITY (2489).
