After a six month investigation, a major drug operation importing cocaine into the Hamilton area, has been busted by the RCMP.
The Mounties say the drugs originated in South America.
They were brought into the country at Toronto’s Pearson Airport, then processed in Hamilton and moved onto the streets through a series of traffickers.
Three Hamilton men and one woman from Waterdown have been arrested.
They’ll appear in court this morning.
The Mounties say their investigation is continuing and at least two more arrested are expected.
