Toronto police chief Bill Blair connected the dots yesterday (as best so far) in the ongoing infamous crack video of Mayor Rob Ford.
He said during the investigation of Fords friend, and sometimes driver Sandro Lisi, a hard drive was confiscated and the video in question (Ford said didn’t exist)was recovered.
Why not arrest Ford?
Because a picture or video of someone smoking crack does not prove beyond a reasonable doubt in court that it is crack.
It could be something else in the crack pipe, like a Twinkie.
Ford held a quick impromptu press conference late yesterday and said he can’t comment as its before the courts.
Which is odd because he’s not before the courts, he was not charged.
He also went on to say he would not resign.
The big question is will Lisi, arrested for extortion in relation to the video, stand by the Mayor or cave under the threat of a conviction on a serious charge and finger Ford?
