A Hamilton motorist says a graphic anti-abortion banner hanging over the Linc at Mohawk should be blamed for an accident on Monday morning.
Christy Loftchick wants the banners banned before someone gets seriously hurt or killed.
She says traffic slowed near the Mohawk Road overpass Monday morning and her car was rear ended.
The air bag was deployed and Loftchick says the driver of the other car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform has been running a campaign in the Hamilton area for the last month and it’s not the first time there have been complaints about its graphic nature.
Hamilton Police say, however, the protesters are not breaking any laws and it is up to drivers to pay attention because there are distractions everywhere.
