Montreal has assigned captain Martin St. Pierre and fellow forward Louis Leblanc to Hamilton.
The 30-year-old St. Pierre appeared in just 1 game with the Habs, seeing just under 10 minutes of action Tuesday night in Montreal’s 3-2 shootout loss to the St. Louis Blues.
St. Pierre has 8 points in 7 games with Hamilton.
Leblanc has dressed for 5 games with the Canadiens this season, collecting just 2 penalty minutes along the way.
He too played against the Blues Tuesday night, and had 2 blocked shots and a giveaway in just under 8 minutes of ice time.
Before being called up to the Habs, Leblanc picked up 6 points in 7 games with Hamilton.
The Bulldogs host the Rochester Americans Tuesday night at 7 o’clock on CHML.
The Dogs are tied for 1st place with Toronto in the AHL’s North Division, three points ahead of the Amerks.
