Beleaguered Mayor Rob Ford denies reports that he made lewd comments to a female staffer last year.
Speaking at city hall this morning as TV cameras broadcast live, Ford used coarse language to say he never told the woman he wanted to have oral sex with her.
The mayor says he’s “happily married” and has “more than enough to eat at home.”
Watch the video below, although we warn you it contains lewd comments.
According to court documents, another staffer told police an intoxicated Ford had made the comments at a downtown restaurant.
The alleged incident was one of several in the document that reported alleged questionable or bizarre behaviour by Ford, which included drunk driving, sniffing cocaine, and apparently consorting with sex workers.
Ford is also threatening legal action against staff members for suggesting at least one of his female companions was a prostitute.
During a media scrum today, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford talked about Sunday’s Eastern Final between the Tiger-Cats and the Argos.
Ford, wearing an Argos jersey, said he was going to contact Hamilton Mayor Bob “Brittania” to tell him the Argos were going to spank the Tiger-Cats on Sunday.
The Argos have released a statement, saying “it’s well-known that the Mayor is a big fan and supporter of the game of football. The Toronto Argonauts organization is not in a position to comment on the manner of dress of public officials. The situation with respect to the Mayor and his leadership is unseemly at best. These latest remarks, while wearing our team’s jersey, are particularly disappointing given our organization’s work in the community to help youth deal with issues of bullying prevention.”
