A B.C. man has pleaded guilty in a Hamilton court to sexual assault charges stemming from incidents that date back to the 1960’s.
70-year-old Howard Jones has been sentenced to time served, the equivalent of 40 months, and has been added to Canada’s Sexual Offender Registry.
Police say the incidents occurred from 1969 to ’72 at a property on Powerline Road in Ancaster.
It was a group home for foster children known at the time as the “Way-J Boys Ranch” of Copetown.
Investigators believe there are more victims out there and are encouraging them to contact Hamilton police.
