That’s the perfect word to describe Tuesday’s rally at the Ticats’ downtown head office, as fans gathered to send the team off to Regina for the 101st Grey Cup in style.
A couple hundred Tiger-Cats fanatics came out to the rally.
And they went nuts when the players and coaches emerged from the building to walk to the team’s buses.
Some of the players are used to that rock star treatment, but it was nice to see some of the so-called role players get some love too.
And several of the fans who I spoke with have their Grey Cup tickets, flights and hotel accommodations locked and loaded.
One gentleman told me he was attending his 18th consecutive Grey Cup.
Another was heading to his 28th in a row.
And what will be even more amazing is if the Tiger-Cats win the CFL’s ultimate prize on Sunday in Saskatchewan against the hometown Riders.
Check back Thursday for my two part game preview and predictions.
