The NHL has reached a massive multi-platform broadcast agreement with Rogers Communications.
The 12-year, 5.2-billion dollar deal includes every NHL game through 2026 campaign including all playoff games and the Stanley Cup Final.
It means TSN will not have any games starting next fall.
As part of the deal, Rogers says the CBC will continue to broadcast its iconic Hockey Night in Canada broadcast and that the TVA network in Quebec has all of the Canadian French-language multimedia rights.
The agreement also guarantees that there will be no further regionalization of games or local blackouts.
Rogers has three exclusive windows to broadcast any game involving a Canadian team: Wednesday nights, Saturday nights (including CBC) and Sunday nights.
The deal must still be approved by the NHL Board of Governors, which next meets December 9 and 0 in Pebble Beach, California.
