A provincial mediator has been assigned to resolve another conflict involving the Brant Street Pier.
The Burlington Post wants the city to release confidential documents containing external legal costs for the project.
The Post filed a freedom of information request in September but city staff have denied access to 36 documents.
There are five lawsuits related to the 14.4-million dollar pier, which had an original budget of 6.2-million.
The pier was first scheduled to open in 2008, but wasn’t completed until last June.
