The Hamilton Bulldogs fell 3-1 to the Toronto Marlies.
The loss makes it two in a row for the Bulldogs who fall two points behind the Marlies in the North Division standings.
Toronto opened the scoring at 13:03 of the opening period when Jerry D’Amigo scored his 5th of the season from Leivo and Carrick.
After the first period the Marlies would lead the Dogs 1-0.
The second period began with Hamilton taking a period just over a minute in and Toronto capitalizing when David Broll scored. Leivo picking up the lone assist on the power play goal.
Hamilton pulled within one as Gabriel Dumont pocketed his 2nd of the season from Deitz just 41 seconds later.
Before the end of the second period the Marlies restored their two goal lead as Sam Carrick scored at 5:57. Spencer Abbot and Jerry D’Amigo with the assists.
After two period Toronto was out shooting Hamilton 19-15.
Nobody could find the back of the net in the third period so the final is 3-1.
The Marlies out shot the Bulldogs 29-25.
Toronto have won 3 of 4 against Hamilton this season.
Next up for Hamilton is a home game against the Lake Erie Monsters tomorrow (Saturday) night.
