It is WestJet’s version of a Christmas miracle.
More than 250 passengers on flights from Hamilton and Toronto received a surprise when they landed in Calgary.
Prior to their departure, WestJet passengers were asked by a virtual Santa Claus at kiosks set up by the airline what they wanted for Christmas.
While the flights were en route, 175 WestJet volunteers gathered the gifts from Best Buy and CrossIron Mills.
And once the passengers arrived at the Calgary Airport, the items they asked for, including cameras, tablets and a big screen TV, filled up the baggage carousel.
