The Greater Hamilton Area seems to have coped well with the first winter storm of the season.
The Winter Storm Warning has ended as the system moves off to the east, but not before dumping about 15-centimetres of snow on Hamilton and more than 20-centimetres in Oakville.
While police had to deal with numerous accidents on slippery roads throughout the day Saturday and overnight, no serious injuries are reported, including from a 20-vehicle pileup on the QEW in Mississauga late Saturday morning.
North of Toronto, two people were killed in a head-on collision near Barrie and the O-P-P say weather may have been a factor.
The City of Hamilton had snow removal crews out early Saturday morning and they spent the day focusing on major routes.
They were expected to hit residential streets Sunday, as the system had moved on.
