Hamilton police have made an arrest in the 2004 stabbing death of John Paul Page.
37-year-old Richard Bennett of Hamilton is charged with first degree murder.
Bennett and Page worked together at a company called GenTek, a vinyl siding company.
Police say more than one other suspect is still being sought.
The 29-year-old Page was found dead by his girlfriend at his Grosvenor Avenue South residence.
Police say Page’s wallet containing a Royal bank card, a social insurance card, birth certificate and other personal items was stolen.
The victim’s bank card was used hours after his murder at two Hamilton ATM machines and surveillance cameras provided images of a suspect.
The pictures showed a black man, 20 to 25 years of age.
Police had also offered a 50-thousand dollar reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Page’s murder.
