As the family of a 9-year-old Hamilton boy who died at an industrial business gets ready for his funeral today more information has come out about what happened.
Schuyler Six will be laid to rest after being killed by a falling piece of steel last Sunday.
Detective Sergeant Glenn Jarvie says Schuyler’s father stopped by the business to help clear snow after the city’s first snowfall of the year.
For some reason a steel grate fell on Schyler, but it’s still not known why.
Jarvie tells the Hamilton Spectator we may never know all the details surrounding the Grade 3 boy’s death, but the investigation is continuing involving both Hamilton Police and the Ministry of Labour.
