The Hamilton Bulldogs finish off three games in three nights with their third win.
The Dogs picking up a 4-3 shootout win over the Utica Comets.
Alexandre Grenier opened the scoring for the home side with a power play goal just before the end of the first period.
After 20 minutes the Comets led 1-0.
Just 27 seconds into the second period the Dogs tied it up as Gabriel Dumont scored his 5th of the season from Tarnasky and Blunden.
Hamilton would take a 2-1 lead as Louis Leblanc scored, his team leading 9th goal, at 17:08 of the period. Macenauer and Dietz with the assists.
After two period Hamilton led Utica 2-1.
Hamilton would add to their lead only 47 seconds into the third period as Greg Pateryn scored for the Dogs from Dumont and Blunden.
Darren Archibald made it a one goal lead with his 5th of the year at 4:47.
Then Utica would tie the game up with just 1:04 left in regulation. Henrik Tommernes with the goal from Ferriero and O’Reilly.
So after 60 minutes the teams would need overtime.
Both teams exchanged chances in overtime but nothing was decided so they went to the shootout.
