One of the two men accused of murdering Ancaster’s Tim Bosma says he “didn’t do it.”
In an interview with the Toronto Star, Dellen Millard says, “They might as well accuse me of having been to the moon. There’s nothing real about it.”
The 28-year-old Millard declined to answer other questions about the case, including whether he was in the truck with Bosma on the night of May 6.
Bosma disappeared that night after leaving his home with two men to test drive his pickup truck that he had advertised for sale online.
Police allege Millard and co-accused Mark Smich killed Bosma and burned his body on Millard’s property near Ayr, Ontario.
Millard remains at the Barton Street jail, while Smich is in a Toronto jail, facing allegations that have yet to be tested in court.
The two men plan to plead not guilty at the preliminary trial next September.
