Beer making is back in Hamilton.
Arts and Science Brewing has announced it is moving into the former Lakeport plant on Burlington Street.
The company and Hamilton Port Authority will invest 10-million dollars over the next two years to renovate the facility, as well as cover the cost of infrastructure and equipment.
The 50-thousand square foot building will employ between 30 and 40 workers when it is fully operational by around Christmas.
Labatt purchased Lakeport in 2007 but closed the plant in 2010.
Arts & Science Brewing is a partnership between Nickel Brook Brewing and Collective Arts Brewing.
