Hamilton Police remain on the hunt for a suspect wanted in now three serious assaults.
21 year old Jerell Downey is charged with stabbing a teen in the chest at a weekend house party in the city’s East End.
The teen is in hospital and the injury is serious but not life threatening.
Downey has been on the run from police since last spring when he was charged with two counts of assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon and several counts of breach of probation.
Investigators have been asking the public to be on the look out for him.
Downey is a black male, 5’6″ tall, 135lbs, with a skinny build.
He’s known to frequent the East End, King and Dundurn as well as the Clifton Hill area of Niagara Falls.
