Victoria Day means a holiday for many and closures throughout the city.
While the usual suspects are closed like the LCBO, Beer Store, city offices, banks, malls and most grocery stores; some local rec centres and arenas have special schedules for swimming and gym programs.
Check your local centre to find out about activities in your area.
There is no garbage pick up or mail delivery and HSR and DARTS are operating on a holiday schedule while GO Train services will run on a Saturday schedule.
Civic museums and libraries are also closed.
But if you want to venture out of town, the new Outlet Collection Mall in Niagara is open as is the Eaton Centre, Square One, Vaughn Mills, Cookstown Outlet Mall and Canada’s Wonderland.
Don’t forget, the local fireworks display will be held Sunday night at dusk at the Dundas Driving Park. There will be a display at Toronto’s Ash Bridges Bay on Monday.
