It should be an emotional night at Hamilton’s Public School Board meeting.
Trustees will debate a report to close 10 elementary schools in the east end, central mountain, Glanbrook and Flamborough when they meet tonight.
The report outlines the plan that also calls for some boundary changes, new buildings and additions to some existing schools.
Over the next several years, the board intends to look at the future of all but a handful of Hamilton’s 95 public elementary schools in a bid to cut costs and curb some 5-thousand empty seats.
