The city, the Hamilton Tiger Cats and Infrastructure Ontario remain united on a “common goal”.
All three continue to insist that football will be played in the city’s new stadium on July.26th.
Site supervisor Gareth Barkey says drier weather means they can start on the drainage system, adding that the turf is scheduled to arrive in the next three or four weeks.
Tiger Cats President Glenn Gibson also stresses we’re at a point in construction where “it really starts to take shape”, noting that the focus is now on exterior work that people can observe as they drive by.
The Cats are scheduled to play Ottawa at Tim Horton’s Field on July.26th.
