Boil water advisory ends

A precautionary Boil Water Advisory issued by Hamilton Public Health to users of the Freelton Municipal Drinking water System has been lifted.

The Advisory was issued due to a lab test result that indicated bacterial contamination in a water sample collected from the Freelton water tower last Tuesday.

It was a precautionary measure and Hamilton Water conducted further sampling and testing to verify the safety of the drinking water.

The all-clear was sounded Saturday evening.
