Ticats and Argos clash at Varsity

Hamilton, ON, Canada / AM900 CHML

It is the Battle of Ontario, preseason style.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Toronto Argonauts clash in the second and final exhibition games for each team Thursday night at Varsity Stadium.

CHML’s coverage, brought to you by Sterling Honda of Hamilton and Halton Honda of Burlington, begins with the Pregame Show at 6:30pm, live from Frisco’s Eatery & Sports Bar on Upper James.

After the game, the 5th Quarter will be live at Stonewall’s on York Boulevard.

Both the Ticats and Argos won their preseason openers.

Hamilton topped Montreal 28-23 at McMaster University last Saturday while the Boatmen edged the Blue Bombers 24-22 on July 9 in Winnipeg.

Zach Collaros is expected to get the start again for the Cats, but its believed that he will see more playing time compared to his first outing in which he threw only eight passes, completing five of them against the Al’s.

Players not suiting up for the Ticats include running back C.J. Gable, receiver Greg Ellingson and centre Mike Filer, who was placed on the team’s six game injured list on Wednesday.
