Stoney Creek man killed in Kitchener crash

A Stoney Creek father is dead after a head on crash in Kitchener early Sunday morning.

31 year old Ryan Bandurka was sitting in the back seat of an SUV when the crash occurred around 3 a.m. along a light-industrial strip in southeast Kitchener.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The SUV was in collision with a taxi.

Both drivers received only minor injuries.

Bandurka managed the kitchen at a Mother’s Pizza location in Kitchener.

21 year old Tiane Scott, the driver of the SUV,  has been charged with impaired driving causing death, driving with more than the legal amount of alcohol in her system and dangerous driving causing death.

She will be in court on July 11th.
