B-17 Flying Fortress arrives in Hamilton

You have a chance to see the cousin of Hamilton’s Lancaster bomber, but only for a limited time.

The World War 2 era B-17 Flying Fortress is up at the Hamilton Warplane Heritage Museum until July 6.

The plane called “Sentimenal Journey” is owned by¬† Commemorative Air Force in Arizona.

You can take a tour for an additional five dollars over the Warplane Heritage admission, but flights cost 850 dollars US in the nose of the craft and 425 dollars to be in the radio room or waist gunner position.
