Shots fired into Brantford crowd

Hamilton, ON, Canada / AM900 CHML

Brantford Police say they’re shocked no one was killed after a man opened fire into a crowd early this morning.

Police say it happened when four black men in their late 20′s pulled up in a silver sedan on Market Street near a pair of bars; Brando’s and Two Doors Down, just after last call.

They say one of the men got out of the car and got into an argument with someone in the crowd of about a dozen people.  That’s when another man in the car pulled out a handgun and fired into the crowd.

One woman was taken to hospital for facial injuries from shrapnel. Bullets also struck a taxi and a gas meter.

Police are looking to speak with witnesses to try and piece together a motive.

  1. Unruly manners, disrespect , make all things right for a young and the restless.
They fear nothing, they think of no one, they think they are untouchable.
And they are now days, because the law is waterish when it comes to sentence for wrong doings. Right of the bath they take them for physolocigal examinations and it is a gateway to freedom. The sentences must be hars and hard and humiliative on these kinds of individuals. Unless we do this now, the way is open for more to do such as this.
