There were no serious injuries in a spectacular industrial fire in Hamilton’s east end.
Fire crews were called just before midnight to a complex of older buildings that house an auto body tenant and several other business at 135 Princess Street near Sherman Avenue.
At least two-dozen fire trucks were on the scene at the height of the three alarm blaze.
Several area homes were evacuated because of the heavy smoke.
Two firefighters were treated by paramedics for minor injuries.
Crews were still at the scene mopping up well into Saturday morning.
An investigator with the Fire Marshal’s Office has been called in to determine the cause.
